April will upon us here in Animal Crossing New Horizons. There are a whole bunch of new things to enjoy including events, limited-time items, and new fish, bugs, and more for both northern and southern hemisphere players in April. ACNH April Update 2022 - New Events, Items, DIY Recipes In Animal Crossing New Horizons
The upcoming Animal Crossing Spring April update implies that the seasons will change, new bugs and fish may be found on your island, and there may be some exciting events in the near future. All of the regular hardwood trees around your tree will be a beautiful pink throughout this time. Players can look forward to a slew of intriguing events and Animal Crossing items in the following month.
ACNH April Events & Items 2022
For most players, the Animal Crossing New Horizons April Spring update marks the beginning of their seasonal events and items. Now, let's check every event you can look forward to in April.
1. ACNH Cherry-Blossom Season 2022
Available Time: April 1 to April 10
Cherry-Blossom Items: Blossom-viewing lantern, Cherry-blossom branches, Cherry-blossom bonsai, Cherry-blossom clock, Cherry-blossom flooring, Cherry-blossom pond stone, Cherry-blossom-petal pile, Cherry-blossom-trees wall, Outdoor picnic set, Sakura-wood wall
The cherry blossom season will upon us from April 1 to April 10 for northern hemisphere players. You will be able to see cherry-blossom petals fluttering through the air. They look magical. There are 11 Animal Crossing items in the cherry blossom furniture series, you can make these pieces by catching and collecting cherry blossom petals that will be drifting around your town from the 1st of April to the 10. During this time as well, you can find recipes for the cherry blossom set in balloons if you didn't get them all last year or if you only recently started your island.
2. ACNH Bunny Day 2022
Available Time: March 28 to April 4
Bunny Day Items: Bunny Day garden flag, Bunny Day planter box, Bunny Day candy, Bunny Day topiary, Bunny Day tree
The main event will take place on April 4. Make sure you head over to the resident services plaza that day, talk to zipper bunny to get Bunny Day-themed rewards and prizes. Nintendo has added a few items in the Bunny Day whether you're on a new island or an old one, you should have some stuff to collect in Animal Crossing New Horizons April season. There are six different types of eggs that you can find to help you craft the various recipes that you'll earn. You can get them through fishing, digging, shaking trees, shooting down balloons, chopping trees, and hitting rocks.
3. ACNH Fishing Tourney 2022
Available Time: April 10
On the second Saturday of April will be another Fishing Tournament. Try to earn the entire fishing tourney furniture set from C.J between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm. There are 16 items in total, 13 pieces of furniture plus a bronze silver, and gold trophy for 100, 200, and 300 cumulative fish caught overall in the fishing tournaments.
4. ACNH April Fool’s Day
Available Time: March 26 to April 1
April Fool’s Day Items: Whoopee Cushion
Whoopee cushion item is added in the 1.9.0 update 2021 for April Fool's Day. You can order it off of nook shopping From March 26 to April 1 and can customize it into a few different colors as well.
5. ACNH Sinimogi
Available Time: April 1 to April 10
Sinimogi Items: Forsythia
Tree Planting is a South Korean holiday that signals the arrival of spring. With it brings the forsythia which you can also order off of nook shopping between the days of April 1 to April 10.
6. ACNH Natural Day
Available Time: April 15 to April 22
Natural Day Items: Cool Globe
From April 15 to April, you are about to get another brand new seasonal item which is the cool globe. This is to celebrate Nature Day, which is an event we have seen before. Sadly, the special nook mile plus goals have been removed from the game.
7. ACNH Prom Season
Available Time: April 1 to April 30
Prom Night Items: Prom flooring, Prom wall, Prom crown, Prom sash, Prom tiara
Nintendo has us covered by adding 3 prom items that will rotate stock in nook shopping for the entire month of April. A ton of different clothing items from the able sister store throughout this time too. If you miss out on prom in the real world, then this is definitely something that you might enjoy.
ACNH April DIY Recipes 2022
From March 21 to April 19, you can learn the aries rocking chair recipe from Celeste if you have shooting stars on your island. From April 20 to May 20, you can use your Taurus fragments to make the Taurus bathtub that you can also learn from Celeste. In addition, from April 1 to April 10, enjoy the cherry blossom season and collect petals to make your favorite cherry products when April begins. Isabelle will also provide you with recipes for an Outdoor Picnic Set so that you may enjoy the cherry-blossom season.
ACNH April Critters 2022
There are a total of 39 of the 80 collectible fish available this month, 10 new fish begin to spawn on April, 3 will be gone after April is over. There are 36 of the total bugs that can be caught in April. With the warm weather comes 10 new bugs to catch and only 1 bug leaving. Last but not the least, there are 20 deep-sea creatures to catch on March, 2 benthic creatures become available and 3 will be leaving.
