Animal Crossing New Horizons Version 1.4.1 Patch Notes - Ver. 1.4.1 (Released August 5, 2020)

Check out the official ACNH version 1.4.1 patch notes from Nintendo. The software has been updated if you see “Ver. 1.4.1” in the upper-right corner of the title screen.

General updates

The following issues that occurred in Ver. 1.4.0 have been fixed:

- Fixed an issue where trees could mature and contain things other than the normal fruit, etc.

- Fixed an issue where shining soil disappears after returning to your own island after a dream and buried Bells appear in that location instead.

- Fixed an issue where the player swings their shovel through the air when attempting to hit a rock placed at a certain location.

Star Fragments Trees Removed in ACNH 1.4.1

If you have updated your game to the latest 1.4.1 version, you may find that hacked trees containing Star Fragments and various other items have been transformed into money trees with bags of bells hanging from them. The Star Fragments trees are technically just money trees, but in ACNH update 1.4.0, it allows players to hack trees for growing Star Fragments instead of fruit, the first fixes is significant to make it return to original form.

What to Expect in Animal Crossing New Horizons Future Update?

Version 1.4.1 does not bring any big features and updates, but it also can solve some small issues in the game and help players enjoy more. Since the summer update trailer released last month, the pumpkin figure shown at the end of the video sparked a lot of speculation about the update coming this fall. Fans can expect the Halloween event with theme Animal Crossing items and special rewards. Except for the seasonal festivals, there should be other features added to the game at the same time. Based on previous experiences, many features incorporated in the game codes discovered by the Dataminers already have been appeared in the game, such as swimming and diving, sea creatures, and dream suite. Therefore, the functions, locations, villagers, and critters that are not yet available are very likely to become reality in the next update. This part includes farming and cooking, vegetables, nook upgrades, Brewster, etc. It’s also reasonable Animal Crossing adds harvest features in the autumn update. Players may have the ability to plant, find, and sell fruit and vegetables. But these rumors and leaks won't be confirmed until September at least.
