Players who have played several Animal Crossing series may find that some features have been removed and not available in New Horizons, and speculate how they could be implemented in the future updates. Actually, there are already some events back in the game, such as Fireworks Show and Dream Suite. What other Animal Crossing New Horizons missing features are possible to return?

10 Removed Features & Villagers May Return to Animal Crossing New Horizons

When it comes to the Animal Crossing New Horizons missing features, often accompanied by the absence of characters who hold the events and run the stores, such as the popular villager Brewster, expected by many players. Other missing characters in Animal Crossing include the Pelly, Phyllis and Pete (the pelicans works in the post office), Tortimer, Copper and Booker, Katrina, Blanca and Kapp'n. The post office trio has been replaced by the postcard stand run by Dodo. There's no mayor on the island and no travel to Tortimer's Island so he's been removed. And there's no police station and the island gates are protected by the Dodo, meaning Copper and Booker are out of a job. But Katrina, Blanca and Kapp'n could show up in the game. In addition to the Animal Crossing missing villagers, Diving and swimming, Dream Suite and Club LOL were originally Animal Crossing removed features, while diving and swimming and dream suite are returning to ACNH with the launch of Summer Update, you can find a list of 5-star dream address codes and guide of sea creatures on Akrpg.com.

1. Brewster

It’s a pity that a few beloved characters missing from New Horizons, especially Brewster’s absence. But the good news is that the game code has it under the museum cafe, if we do get Brewster back, he'll be part of the museum once again, likely in a different way, the code for the museum cafe includes a Gyroid section, Gyroids being another feature removed in New Horizons, it looks like our funky dance friends could be returning. Hope Brewster will have his storage section once again. In past games, Brewster can store the player's Gyroids if they spoke to him while holding them. We can expect Brewster in the ACNH Fall Update

2. Katrina

Katrina and her fortune-telling had effects on the player like tripping if they had been given the unlucky fortune, if they are given a lucky finance fortune, they'd earn more Animal Crossing bells and even having villagers react a certain way to them depending on the fortune. There's no reason Katrina can't return. Her tent could just pop up once a week for the player to get their fortune.

3. Blanca

Blanca is a recurring character in the Animal Crossing series, but she didn't show up on April Fool's Day in New Horizons. She is a white cat who asks the player to draw her a face. She can come back and do what she does best: pretend to be other villagers or go back to drawing on her face and have her show up on your friend's islands.

4. Kapp'n

Kapp'n is a green turtle that features in Animal Crossing Games as a driver of various forms of transport, including boats, taxis and buses. Similarly, the Dodo birds have taken his job. Pier would be a great way to introduce Kapp'n back into the series. Possibly he could take us to special islands that are different from the normal ones we visit, or just appear for special events.

5. Flea Market

The Flea Market is a weekend event that villagers from your town allow others to come in and buy some of their Animal Crossing items, Flea Market is not present in New Leaf because Re-Tail acts like a Flea Market, but both aren't present in New Horizons. The Re-Tail is run by Reese together with her partner Cyrus, they bought and sold a variety of items, and helped the player customize the look of certain furniture. The flea market could return as it once was, there is a great idea is that add an app on the Nook phone and works like the selling boxes in Pocket Camp, where friends could buy anything you put in it, this could give Reese and Cyrus another reason to show up besides the Wedding Event.

6. Club LOL

As for the Club LOL, it’s a building first introduced in New Leaf as the main entertainment venue run by Dr. Shrunk, players can visit Dr. Shrunk to learn emotions when watching him perform shows during the day, and see K.K. Slider perform his songs during the night. In New Horizons, it’s not very likely to it as we can get reactions from our villagers, and K.K. Slider concert is always scheduled for Saturdays unless in which case he is moved to Sundays.

7. Happy Home Showcase

The Happy Home Showcase is also a feature that has been removed in New Horizons. It’s a new location in New Leaf, provides service that is the ability to visit StreetPass players' houses from other towns, so you could check out other people's decorations and order furniture that was displayed. This feature can save the excruciatingly long travel time we have now.

8. Nook upgrades

There's only one upgrade in New Horizons and there's been up to 5 upgrades in previous games. Ninji did say there was evidence of another upgrade in the code but we don't know when this will be added. Summer is coming to an end, maybe we can expect it in the autumn. Nook upgrades are a great way to fit other shops without more buildings cluttering the island.

9. Perfect Fruit

Animal Crossing New Leaf added a bunch of new fruit: lychees, durians, lemons, bananas, mangoes and persimmons, which disappeared in New Horizons. It seems odd to add these new fruits and then take them away, especially when those fruits are more suited to a tropical island. It'd be great to see them return at some point maybe as a chance to spawn on the island tours or for events. Perfect fruit is also missing in the game, which was only just added in New Leaf and it's in Pocket Camp. Perfect fruit was a way to make a lot of AC Bells especially when you sold them to a town where the fruit wasn't native, and in Pocket Camp they can be used to get higher rewards from your campers when they ask for a non-specific fruit. This would be easy to put back in the game.

10. Town Ordinances

Town Ordinances are like behavior profiles for the player's town and affected how your town operated. There are four ordinances in total, including Beautiful Town, Early Bird Town, Night Owl Town and Bell Room/Wealthy Town. Early Bird and Night Owl Town ordinances can what times your shop was open and when your villagers would be awake. This is great for if you can only play the game at certain times of the day. They could even add some new ones to better fit the island theme and it would give Isabelle an extra thing to do.

There are also a variety of missing features we want to see in the game, like Gemstones or Ore, Island tours and mini-games, Amiibo villagers, more museum descriptions, the ability to kick the ball and preview the wallpaper and flooring in Nook's store, etc. What we can ensure is that a series of additional contents would be available in the ACNH autumn update, such as the Halloween event, hope to see the trailer in September.
