Take all other shells with you when you walk across the beach, so that more new ones can appear. If you walk the beach two or three times a day, you should get enough summer shells.

How & Where To Get ACNH Summer Shells Outside Summertime?

As you know you can collect summer shells from beach in your own island during June to August in Northern Hemisphere and December to February in Southern Hemisphere, but how could you do to get summer shells if you miss out this time? Below are few ways you can try to get summer shells outside summertime:

• 1. Visit Other Players Island Under Summertime - If your island is not in summer season now, visit other players islands that are in the summertime, you can easily find summer shells on their beaches. For example, if you are playing in the Northern hemisphere when it’s in cold January, you are able to visit a ACNH friend from Southern hemisphere and get summer shells from his island beach.

• 2. Trade Summer Shells With Others - Same as other ACNH items, the summer shells can be stocked in players' house storage or other places in their island for all time, so it’s able to trade summer shells with other players anytime you want some. • 3. Time Travel To Summertime - If the above methods do not work for you, go to make a time travel to summer by changing your Nintendo Switch to June, July, or August in the Northern Hemisphere or December, January, or February in the Southern Hemisphere. What You Can Do With Summer Shells?

Summer shells are a crafting material that you can use to make summer shell-specific items. How to get the Summer DIY Recipes?

As with the previous instructions, you can get them again in three different ways. Either they are in balloons, in a message in a bottle or your residents give them to you. Since you have until August 31st, finding the eight different DIY recipes shouldn't be a problem.

How Many Summer Shells You Need For Craft All Summer Shell Items?

In order to be able to make all the handicraft instructions once, you need a total of 30 summer shells (including the summer shells for the Sandy-Beach Flooring used for the Starry-Sands Flooring). But you also need other materials of normal shells.
