Halloween is one of the most anticipated seasonal events in the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The Halloween Night event is held on October 31st every year in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The event begins at 5PM on October 31st and runs until midnight on that same date. On October 31st, when the clock hits 5PM, Jack the Pumpkin Czar will appear on the island and the Halloween-themed activities and changes will commence, including villagers dressing up and roaming or staying indoors. Music and atmosphere also change to enhance the Halloween vibe starting from 5PM on October 31st until the end of the event at midnight.
What’s Halloween Event In Animal Crossing New Horizons?
ACNH Halloween event is hosted by Jack, known as the Halloween Czar. He visits the island during the event hours. Villagers will gather in the plaza area, which will be decorated for Halloween. Jack also visits during this event. The player can go trick-or-treating with villagers by giving them candy. In return, villagers will give items like DIY recipes or lollipops. Lollipops are needed to trade with Jack for exclusive Halloween DIY recipes, like the Spooky Carriage and Spooky Wand recipes. A total of 3 lollipops are needed for all recipes.

How To Get Halloween Candies In Animal Crossing New Horizons?
Halloween Candy can be purchased from Nook's Cranny throughout the month of October inside the cabinet. Each candy costs 120 Bells. Importantly, you can only purchase one piece of Candy from your own Nook's Cranny per day. This limit applies only to your island and not others visited through multiplayer. Time traveling or using a second player character can allow purchasing more than one candy per day from your own island.
On Halloween night (October 31st) after 5PM, you can obtain candy from villagers by putting on a costume and visiting them inside their homes. Speaking to villagers indoors will often prompt them to give you a free piece of candy. This process of getting candy from indoor villagers on Halloween night can be repeated after waiting a short while between attempts. Villagers may sometimes give candy outdoors as well. During the Halloween event, villagers may also give out lollipops when given candy, which can be traded to Jack for special items.
