How to Get a May Day Ticket in ACNH 2024?
From April 29 to May 7, 2024, Tom Nook will be at Resident Services to inform players that the May Day event is underway. To get a May Day Ticket, you need to go to the airport and speak to Orville, he will offer you a May Day Ticket with your name on it, once the conversation starts, choose “I wanna fly!” and “Use May Day Ticket”, then you can use the ticket to visit the island for May Day tour. You can only get one ticket to redeem one tour opportunity.

ACNH May Day Maze 2024 Walkthrough - How to Beat May Day Tour in Animal Crossing
There are two types of May Day tour layouts in Animal Crossing New Horizons, and the ACNH May Day maze 2024 should be the first type of design, which is the same as 2022/2020, can be identified by looking for a single fruit on the ground, and no cliffs. If you have not done the Rover’s Maze, here are the steps for getting through the tour and obtaining all bell vouchers.
1. Dig up the bush and tree blocking your path using the shovel on the ground, and eat fruit to dig up the tree. Be careful when you eat your fruit and pay attention to the durability of your tools.
2. Follow the new pathways to collect a worn axe, tree branches, and stone. Only use the worn axe on trees.
3. Chop the top left tree with the axe to get two native fruits and one branch behind it.
4. Break the rock in the bottom left to collect an iron nugget.
5. Break the rock and chop the tree in the bottom right to access a DIY crafting workbench. Eat fruit to get energy.
6. Learn two DIY crafting recipes to craft a flimsy axe at the workbench, then an axe.
7. Chop trees on the straight left using your axe for two more fruit. Walk back to the area where you found the iron nugget, and cut down the last tree in the maze besides the three trees at the north end.
8. Chop the final 3 trees north to meet Rover at the campsite. Talk with Rover and let him introduce himself and then give you the May Day maze reward: Rover’s Briefcase.
9. Dig bushes left of Rover for 4 Bell Vouchers.
10. Dig bushes north of Rover for a path, break 3 rocks after eating the fruit for 5 more Bell Vouchers.
Tips and Tricks for Solving May Day Maze 2024 Quickly
- When you arrive on the May Day maze island, your pockets will be empty. You must find everything you need to complete the maze on the island.
- Tools have limited durability on the island, craft tools like axes and shovels as instructed to help progress through obstacles.
- Chop trees, dig up plants, and break rocks to gather materials, such as wood, stone, branches, and fruit.
- Fruit is limited and only eating that when ready to immediately use a tool prevents accidental early depletion.
- Complete objectives to earn new DIY recipes, which may help solve puzzles.
- If you get stuck, use the "Rescue Service" to return to the dock and reset your progress.
- Carefully follow the maze path, removing obstacles like trees and digging up bushes/plants blocking the way.
- Returning to prior areas can uncover new paths or objectives missed earlier.
- Shovel use unwittingly revealed stumps can be sat on to hop over gaps.
- Hidden bell vouchers can be exchanged for bells back home too.
