October is a great month to play Animal Crossing: New Horizons! The leaves are changing color, the weather is getting cooler, and there are plenty of fun seasonal activities to enjoy. There are a number of new fish and bugs to catch in October, including the red snapper, the koi carp, the mantis shrimp, and the cricket. Halloween is one of the biggest holidays in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and there are plenty of spooky decorations to choose from. You can also dress up in a Halloween costume and go trick-or-treating with your villagers.

ACNH October Events & Rewards

Fishing Tourney (October 8, 2023)

Catch as many fish as you can during this tournament to win prizes, including a golden fishing rod and a trophy.

Rewards:

The rewards for the Fishing Tourney in Animal Crossing: New Horizons vary depending on how many points you earn. You can earn points by catching fish and by completing challenges, such as catching the biggest fish or the most fish of a certain type. Here is a list of the rewards you can earn in the Fishing Tourney:

• 1 point: Fish Bait

• 2 points: Fish Food

• 3 points: Fish Tank

• 5 points: Fish Rug

• 10 points: Fish Print Tee

• 20 points: Fish Umbrella

• 30 points: Fish Pochette

• 50 points: Fish Doorplate

• 100 points: Fish Drying Rack

• 200 points: Silver Fish Trophy

Halloween (October 31, 2023)

The Halloween event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a special event that takes place on October 31st every year. During the event, players can trick-or-treat with their villagers, get candy, and buy spooky items from Jack, the Pumpkin King. To participate in the Halloween event, players need to collect candy from their villagers. Players can do this by talking to their villagers and asking for candy. Villagers will give players candy if they are wearing a Halloween costume. Once players have collected candy, they can trade it in for Halloween items from Jack, the Pumpkin King. Jack will be located in the plaza on October 31st from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Players can trade candy for items such as Halloween costumes, pumpkin furniture, and candy.

The rewards for the Halloween event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons vary depending on how much candy you collect and trade in to Jack, the Pumpkin King. Here is a list of the rewards you can earn in the Halloween event:

• 3 candies: Spooky Flooring

• 5 candies: Spooky Garland

• 7 candies: Spooky Table Set

• 9 candies: Spooky Carriage DIY Recipe

• 13 candies: Spooky Chair

• 17 candies: Spooky Fence

• 21 candies: Spooky Lantern

• 25 candies: Jack's Robe

• 31 candies: Lollipop

You can also earn a special prize for collecting and trading in all 31 candies. The special prize is a Jack Mask.
