ACNH June Update 2023 Guide - Events, Items, DIYs & Critters in Animal Crossing New Horizons

June the first for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere is actually the first time ever that plumeria bushes can start to bloom on our island and we can finally see their beautiful flowers. This is definitely really exciting especially if you don't time travel, then it would be your first time really seeing this bloom and blossom on your island. They come in pink and yellow so make sure you've got plenty of these planted. Like every year, the hydrangea bush will start to bloom as well throughout the month. For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, the camellia bushes will start to bloom from the 16. Incidentally, that is around when snow will start to land on your island. Now, let's dive into the new events, items, DIYs and critters in Animal Crossing New Horizons June update for 2023!

ACNH July Events & Items 2023

There are actually quite a lot of Animal Crossing June items. In fact, June might have the most amount of seasonal items that you can collect in the game.

1. Wedding Season

Wedding Season is a major Animal Crossing June event. To start the event, you'll need to visit Harv's Island and speak to Reese and Cyrus, the married alpacas who are celebrating their anniversary. They will ask you to help them take anniversary photos, and you'll be tasked with decorating their anniversary room with wedding-themed ACNH items.

As you complete their requests, Reese and Cyrus will reward you with heart crystals, which can be exchanged for wedding-themed items at the event's exclusive shop. You can also receive DIY recipes as rewards for completing tasks.

There are actually a few minor changes with this event that you can enjoy this time around. For example, Harvey will actually take part in the conversation when you first arrive on Harvey's island as per Harvey's request. She sadly doesn't actually say anything but it's still nice to see her included as she was of course a big inclusion to Harvey's island. When you're actually decorating the studio, you can use some of the 2.0 update features to make your designs even more elaborate mess with the lighting and other stuff like that.
