Now it is the time to welcome March in Animal Crossing New Horizons! March represents also the season of spring. This will be the first time in a long time that our islands have seen any new growth, and there will be plenty of exciting things to see this ACNH Spring update. ACNH March (Spring) Update 2022 - New Events, Items, DIY Recipes & Critters In Animal Crossing
As Spring approaches, the weather turns warmer, you might notice your grass turning from a swampy brown to a more luscious green. One implication of this is the ability to gather young spring bamboo from bamboo trees on your island as part of the new spring season. You can expect moring announcements from Isabelle about new seasonal crafting materials and DIY recipes. If you didn't gather enough last year then this will be your first chance to grab it again to make a variety of recipes. ACNH March Seasonal Events & Items 2022
March is a busy month. Let's see every Animal Crossing New Horizons March events and Animal Crossing items you can expect.
Hinamatsuri
Time: February 25 - March 3
Item: Hhinaningyo and Blossom Lantern
From February 25 to March 3 is Hinamatsuri. Hinamatsuri holiday in Japan (also known as Girl's Day or Doll Festival). One of Japan's most popular festivals honoring female children. Families in Japan celebrate Momo no Sekku (the Peach Festival) by displaying porcelain dolls decked up in imperial court regalia. Traditional Japanese craftwork is alive and well in the production of these figures. On this day, you can pick up blossom Lantern and Hinaningyo this time from Nook Shopping as well.
Pi Day
Time: March 1 - March 14
Item: π Pie
One of the most important mathematical constants is celebrated on Pi day. Pi (π) Day was first celebrated at the Exploratorium in 1988 and has since become a worldwide festival observed live and online. It is no coincidence that the date (3/14) contains the first three digits of pi (π). From March 1 to March 14, you can pick up a Pie Day Pie from Nook Shopping.
St. Patrick’s Day
Time: March 10 to March 17
Item: Shamrock Rug, Shamrock Doorplate, Shamrock Soda, Shamrock Suit, Shamrock Hat, Shamrock Sunglasses, Shamrock Shoes
Every year on March 17, St. Patrick's Day (Shamrock Day) is observed to commemorate his death in the fifth century. For more than a millennium, the Irish have commemorated this day as a religious festival. It was customary for Irish families to go to church in the morning and celebrate St. Patrick's Day in the afternoon during Lent. More seasonal items are available ACNH Spring March update focusing on Saint Patrick's Day along with some seasonal furniture. There will also be some clothing items available to grab in the Able Sister.
Pisces
Time: February 19 - March 20
Item: Pisces Lamp (4 Stone + 2 Gold Nugget + 3 Star Fragment + 2 Pisces Fragment )
If you find some shooting stars between February 19 and March 20. Be sure to check your beaches for some Pisces fragments. You need to use these fragments to make a Pisces Lamp. Celeste will give you the recipe for the Pisces Lamp if there is a meteor shower or if shooting stars are visible that night.
Aries
Time: March 21 - April 19
Item: Aries Rocking Chair (5 Stone + 1 Gold Nugget + 3 Star Fragment + 2 Aries Fragment )
March 21 to April 19 will be the star sign for Aries, just like Pisces. Celeste gives out the Aries Rocking Chair recipe during meteor showers. Use the fragments that you will find to make the Aries Rocking Chair.
ACNH March Craft Materials & DIY Recipes 2022
Young Spring Bamboo may still be harvested in the Animal Crossing March update from February 25th to May 31st in the Northern Hemisphere. As many as possible are required to complete the collection of bamboo furniture!
