This one is so summery and vivid, all of the greens are so cool. The gazebo surrounded by storefronts, surrounding area for this farm kind of spills into the residential area and there's workshop sort of space, definitely very farmy. The area surrounding is just as important as the farm itself for creating a farm character.

2. Non-Traditional Farm Design For 2.1

The farms did not have to be traditional farms with crops and this was a great example of a non-traditional farm. This is a gyroid farm, the surrounding area is so beautiful. This island has really unique colors working into it and I love the addition of the cacti as well. This island's farm kind of worked into their lore. If you go to the very back of the farm, there's a shrine for this island's deity, just super creative. This creator has incorporated some irrigation by doing straight lines of water alongside the cropsm such a good idea and it definitely adds more realistic character to your farm, when you incorporate some irrigation details that would fit in with real life farms.

5. Build Your 2.1 Farm In Animal Crossing 

Here are the plank custom designs, they are little tiny patches, the windmill here introducing some movement for the scene, the water splash under the water bucket, this creator paid so much attention to the tiny details which really brought this area to life. There is also a Nooks Cranny, Nooks cranny itself kind of felt like a local general store.

This happy home paradise build is great. This is a cute farm and there is gazebo and storefront building which is just genius. All of the details here are precious, we've got this market sign which is super aesthetic and the little bottles of milk on the barrel, how cute are those! The outside is super impressive but the interior actually also contributes to this farm. 

So inside is a general farm supply store, the amount of detail, the fact that ducks are here as chickens inside the bunnies, this is just beyond creative and all of the details were immaculate. It felt so rea, this feels like a general farm storm.

This creator thought so far outside the box. First of all, the lead up with the volcanoes, this is about as far from traditional farming as you can get. There is bridge in the center, check the background, that looks incredible.

Look at how farms can be incorporated in different themes! This island definitely had a sort of fairy core aesthetic how cute was that gyroid on the ground, we also got a lot of custom designs that make it feel like this island is full of fairy. It just felt so cozy and welcoming and bright and seeing these crops worked in they just again fit in so seamlessly, it was super impressive.

9. ACNH 2.1 Farm Design Ideas 2022 - DA-4892-2058-2701

It's cool that they set up the storefronts with them being facing away so that you can see the wanted posters slash advertisements, and this island had the farm right beside a sort of cafe area. So it's farm to table you get super fresh food, I like the items placed on the ground here and the way the chairs are kind of alternating, they're not all facing the same way. It adds character makes this feel more real and the same goes for the tables on the left side of the farm. How precious are they and the odd number of chairs on the one table, great detail. This is just beside the island's entrance, that's just so cool.
