ACNH New Year’s Items (2022, 2023, etc.) - New Animal Crossing Zodiac Animal Figurines in 2.0.4

The 2.0 Free Update of Animal Crossing New Horizons brings us a lot of new additions to explore and enables us to build even a brand new themed island. Now outside the huge update, Nintendo also added some minor updates with new hidden items and features. In this article, we are going to bring the complete set of new ACNH Zodiac Animal Figurines items added in 2.0.4 for the future New Year’s events and how to get these Animal Crossing New Year items for 2022, 2023, etc.

All ACNH Zodiac Animal Figurines Items in 2.0.4 - ACNH New Year Items (2022,2023,etc.)

Here is a list covering all the 11 new Zodiac Animal Figurines items added in the Animal Crossing New Horizons 2.0.4 update, each animal represents one new year and will be available for a limited time in the future. 

Plus the previous two, there are now a total of 13 Chinese zodiac items, each zodiac item can be unlocked in order over the next 12 years during the New Year’s event, with the boar and pig available for the same years. The 2.0.4 update also added every future New Year’s event for every possible year available on the Nintendo Switch clock, which is the year 2000 through 2060. They did this to make the corresponding zodiac animal figurines match with the correct year.

How to Get Zodiac Animal Items in ACNH? 

There are two methods until now you can get these New Year items. 

1. Nook Shopping

The Zodiac Ox figurine that was added in last year's winter update in celebration of the New Year for 2021 was the only Zodiac figurine until the 2.0 update, which added the Zodiac Tiger figurine for the New Year’s Eve/Day event for 2022. You can buy these zodiac figurines using 1,600 Animal Crossing bells at Nook Stop from December 22, 2021, to January 5, 2022.

2. Katrina

Since the 2.0.4 update, other than purchasing through Nook Shopping, players also have a chance to get the Zodiac figurines set from Katrina’s possible main rewards. If you visit Katrina’s shop at Harvey’s Island and have a bad fortune, you can buy a Purification effect with 10,000 bells to receive a Purification spell, and random items from the Zodiac Figurine set may be sent to you in the mail the next day. So you have a chance to get these items before their sale date.
