ACNH New Gummy Cards Series 3 (Fall Release 2021) - Release Date, New Character Cards & Pre-Order Details
As you know, Animal Crossing is not only hugely popular as a video game, but also within the trading card world. ever since Animal Crossing made its way from n64 to GameCube, the franchise has seen some sort of trading cards released alongside each iteration of the game. some of these include the classic e-reader cards, Animal Crossing miller foyer cards, limited edition gummy or collectors cards, and of course Animal Crossing amiibo cards, which most of you will be familiar with by now seems those are in fact compatible with New Horizons.
The Animal Crossing card community is massive especially in Japan, with many of these sets becoming highly collectible all around the world, so it's not too surprising more cards have been announced. so let’s taking a look at some of the latest New Horizons merchandise that has just been revealed which a lot of you will be looking forward to, so without further ado, let's get straight into it! 
Since the launch of New Horizons last year, we have seen two sets of Animal Crossing gummy cards released to celebrate the popularity of New Horizons. each set contains 27 cards each and saw Animal Crossing villages such as Sid, Meghan, and Raymond on trading cards for the very first time. well thanks to the success of these first two sets, a third series has just been revealed and is now available for pre-order. the third set of animal cross New Horizons gummy cards will be available from October 31st. so in about three months and include 32 brand new and unique cards.
Unlike the first two sets that focus heavily around the villagers with a few special cards thrown in for good measure, this new series focuses on the 2022 calendar and villager birthdays. although there is 16 new villager cards half of this collection will include monthly calendars that illustrate the villager's birthdays. just like previous sets the villager cards highlight some of the most popular New Horizons characters and offer a bunch of information surrounding the villager including phrases, and hobbies, and little tidbits of information.

The calendar cards which are a new format include one for every month going into 2022 and of course cover all of the animal's birthdays, which is really unique.
The third series of New Horizons gummy cards also includes four additional message cards that feature promotional artwork and a postcard on the rear.
This set contains 32 cards altogether making it the largest new horizon set so far and brings the total of Animal Crossing New Horizons cards in the entire collection to 86 cards.
As you can see by the booster pack, they're sold alongside a sweet or a piece of candy with each pack containing two sweets and a single card.
ACNH New Character Gummy Cards Pre-Order Details
Like the previous series, they have been manufactured and published by Bandai like a lot of Animal Crossing merchandise over the years, but are officially licensed and fully signed off and endorsed by Nintendo. unfortunately, it seems these cards won't make it outside of Japan though, and like the first two sets will only see a Japanese release. don't worry though, they will still be super easy to get a hold of as they are already up for pre-order on Amazon and will no doubt be available on sites like eBay or buy e, both of which typically offer international shipping. with that said they would of course become even easier to find once they're physically released.
