ACNH May-August 2021 Events & Items - May, June, July, August In Animal Crossing New Horizons 1.10 Update
Time flies, a brand new season arrives. So do the seasonal events changes including some refreshed items that have been added to Animal Crossing New Horizons for Nintendo Switch through the 1.10 update. There are a lot of interesting and unique Animal Crossing events updates are on the way! Today we've covered all details of the debuting for brand new May, June, July, August events and items in Animal Crossing New Horizons 1.10 update 2021,including Mother's Day, Father's Day, Solstice, International Children’s Day and Cowboy Festival.
ACNH May-August Update 2021 - May, June, July August Events & Items In Animal Crossing New Horizons 1.10
Thanks to the latest 1.10 update that dropped a few days ago at the end of April, six seasonal events have been scheduled for the coming months, here we're focusing on the ACNH May, June, July, August updates and events 2021 that have been seen before, but have been refreshed or changed. Although these six events did a feature last year, they have only just returned to 2021 since the 1.10 update of Animal Crossing. So naturally will become available but some are still time-locked until nearer the celebrations now. Most of the changes involve the times and dates of specific events but the majority also brings new ACNH items compared to last year.
Mother’s Day - ACNH May Update
May.1 - May 31
The first of six events recently re-added to Animal Crossing New Horizons, and the only ACNH seasonal event in May that was available last year is Mother's Day. Traditionally, Mother's day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, the player will receive a letter with a present from their mother. This year mother's day has already begun running from May 1 through all the way to May 31. However, the thank you mum mug can be purchased during this time. Also introduces Mother’s Day items carnations for the first time.

Father’s Day - ACNH June Update
June 1 - June 30
June is a super busy month for seasonal events and holidays, Father's Day is a great June event in Animal Crossing 2021. It returns from last year and will celebrate on the third Sunday of June. Traditionally, the player’s father will write to them. Unlike last year, it no longer clashes with the summer solstice or the first bug off of the year. With that said father's day is also celebrated for an entire month from June 1 through to June 30, with limited-time items available. The seasonal father’s day item includes the thank you dad mug and a brand new thank you dad apron will be available this time around.

Solstice - ACNH June Update
June 15 - June 21
Solistice is an ACNH June event 2021 that sees both the summer and winter solstice, depending on which hemisphere you're in. This event starts on June 21. For players in the northern hemisphere, the summer solstices can be celebrated from June 15 through to June 21 which marks the actual solstice date itself. As for the summer solstice item both the sunflower crown and the sunflower rug can be purchased. For players in the southern hemisphere, the winter solstice can be celebrated instead. During the winter solstice, both the mid-winter sweater and the aurora wall can be purchased. Unlike last year, these limited-time items are exclusive to each hemisphere, players will have to wait until December to collect the alternative items.

International Children’s Day - ACNH June Update
June 1 - June 15
International children's day is a mini seasonal Animal Crossing event celebrated in June. In 2021, this holiday is only celebrated for two weeks from June 1 through to June 15, instead of the entire month. Players have the chance to purchase both the homemade crown and the homemade cape no matter which hemisphere you're in. International children's day remains much the same when compared to last year, in order to celebrate children all over the world.

Tanabata - ACNH July Update
July 1 - July 7
Japanese Tanabata festival event returns to Animal Crossing New Horizons in July 2021, this holiday is no longer celebrated for an entire month, instead of celebrated for the first week of July. It starts from July 1 to July 7, which happens to be the traditional date for the event. This is the day that deities Orihime and Hikoboshi can meet, represented by the stars Vega and Altair. People will write a wish on tanzaku paper, hang it from the bamboo, and wish on the stars! The awesome bamboo grass Tanabata item can be purchased, moreover, it is quite unique in that a different message can be read every time the item is interacted with.

Cowboy Festival - ACNH July & August Update
July 15 - August 15
The final ACNH June and August event is celebrating Brazil's Cowboy Festival. The cowboy festival was celebrated for the first time in any Animal Crossing game last year. Unlike last year, the cowboy festival runs across two months and has been brought forward. In 2021, it is still celebrated for several weeks, now celebrated from July 15 through to August 15. During the event, the rodeo-style springy ride-on item will once again be available to purchase, unfortunately, other than the date there's no change to the event so no additional items for the cowboy festival in July.

Thanks to the 1.10 update, there are six seasonal events that will be returning for 2021 with all of the changes that have been made to these celebrations. All of the exclusive items for these ACNH updates of May, June, July, August can be purchased from the nook shop with cheap ACNH bells found at resident services or through the nook shopping app on the nook phone.
