Animal Crossing New Horizons Shop Upgrades - ACNH Nook's Cranny Upgrades
There are only two versions of Nook’s Cranny available in Animal Crossing New Horizons, according to Ninji’s datamine, there is a third Nook’s Cranny referenced, but no more description on future shops features and details, there is a lot of ideas on the way, will the shop be upgraded to a two-story building with much more ACNH items? We can expect it in the next update.

- Pay off the initial 5,000 Nook Miles debt
- Upgrade from a tent to a house
- Donate 5 unique bugs/fish to Tom Nook and place Blathers' tent
- Collect 30 Wood, 30 Softwood, 30 Hardwood, and 30 Iron Nuggets crafting materials.
How to Upgrade Nook’s Cranny in Animal Crossing New Horizons (Second)?
There are three prerequisites.
1. Mabel has visited your island. She may appear on the plaza outside Resident Services after your spend 5000 Animal Crossing Bells with her on her third visit, she will ask to set up shop, there is a one day down and then they have the storefront.
2. Buy/Sell 200K Bells. You need to buy/sell items worth a total of 200K Bells. For example, if you have sold 25 tarantulas, you have met this requirement.
3. 30 days since Nook’s Cranny was built. Timmy and Tommy's store has had a presence on your island for 30 days, from the time Tom Nook gives you the little camping space to set up the shop.
The requirements for the further third Nook's Cranny upgrade have not been announced.
Animal Crossing New Horizons Update Datamine - ACNH New Bushes
From the ACNH update 1.4.0 data, Ninji has discovered the game code “New bush type (Plumeria)”, which means that the Plumeria may be added as a new bush to the New Horizons. In the early days of the game, plantable bushes have returned to ACNH in the Earth Day Update (1.2.0) and now called shrubs, including Azalea, Hibiscus, Holly, Hydrangea, Camellia, and Osmathus, most of them were appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the 3DS, but Camellia would be a new addition to the series.

Another datamined code revealed by Ninji is “New ‘VgtTomato’, ‘VgtWheat’, ‘VgtSugarCane’, ‘VgtPotato’, ‘VgtCarrot’, ‘VgtSquash’ map Fg items”, so the ACNH vegetable types we can expect are tomato, wheat, sugarcane, potato, carrot, and squash. The vegetable is a completely different plant type in this series, players may have the chance to grow seeds and pick foods from these plants. The hint about cooking could mean players can use their farmed crops for culinary purposes. The introduction of this feature would make Animal Crossing heavily featured farming and harvest in the autumn.
Animal Crossing New Horizons Update Datamine - Gyroid & Cooking
Their findings also leaked Nintendo also hidden some of the references to sewing and cooking DIYs. As for the Gyroid, “New ‘35_Gyroid’ItemKind”has featured in the Animal Crossing New Horizons file, which also suggests that the Brewster’ cafe would incorporate gyroids, so it’s not sure whether that means 35 different gyroids.
